We have been awarded the “Compenso” label for offsetting 9 tonnes of CO2. Through the Carballedo reforestation project, we have managed to mitigate our Carbon Footprint and establish our production as Zero Emissions.
The “Compenso” seal is a recognition from the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, awarded to organisations that, after calculating and reducing their carbon footprint, compensate the remaining emissions by participating in CO2 absorption projects such as reforestation or the implementation of renewable energies. This label underlines the commitment to sustainability and the pursuit of carbon neutrality, representing a key step for companies focused on reducing their environmental impact and strengthening their responsibility towards society and the environment.
